What did you want to be when you were a kid?

As a kid, I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I dreamt to be an owner of a business around WELA Village

What and where did you study?

I studied at WELA II Primary school from 2004 to 2010 but I couldn’t continue with further studies.

Tell us about your career from the beginning until now.

As I have mentioned, I only have primary school, Once ISOAF started the operations at SOJO, I applied for a job in 2022 and managed to be employed as a helper for masonry works, after a year I got an opportunity to be selected and be enrolled in an internal training as a Flag man/lady for heavy equipment’s and moving vehicles at site. In April 2024, I was selected for another internal training for the overhead crane operator which I serve the position up to date.

What training did you complete to become a Lifting Supervisor or Engineer?

I attended the on-job training for Overhead crane operator by Mainport.

Have you always been interested in mechanical lifting?

I have developed interest in the lifting operations since I started observing other women participating in these operations

What qualities should a lifting supervisor or engineer have?

A supervisor should have knowledge (training), experience and skills.

How do you see yourself in five years?

I am expecting to be at a certain position with experience of different knowledge while conducting my tasks (job) efficiently and faithfully.
