The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Tanzania invites you to embark on a Journey of discovery through our exclusive Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

  • What is the EACOP MOOC?

EACOP has developed a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) aimed at providing basic mathematics and science education as well as specific training and information on EACOP activities and environment. Our MOOC focuses on providing participants with a deep understanding on EACOP and the midstream Oil & Gas industry.

  • What you need to know:
  • Who can participate in the MOOC?
    Tanzanian youths aged between 18 and 28, who have completed Secondary level and have a good understanding of the English language.
  • Cost of participation
    Access to the MOOC is free, but internet access is necessary.
  • MOOC availability
    The EACOP MOOC will be available from June 5th 2023 for a duration of nine weeks. There will be eight sessions followed by a session for the Final Quiz.
  • What does the training program entail?
  • Duration
    Approximately 30 months of extensive training.
  • Theoretical Classes
    Receive in-depth knowledge through comprehensive theoretical sessions.
  • Practical Sessions
    Gain practical exposure through hands-on training at Arusha Technical College, VETA Moshi, and UPIK in Kigumba, Uganda.
  • On-the-Job Training
    Experience real-world scenarios with international Oil & Gas production processing plants to enhance your skills before the final assessment.
  • Graduation
    Successful candidates will be assessed based on competencies by the Field Operations Teams (FOPS) and offered staff contract employment.
